Josh North Chairman Usman Charge Jos Residents to Comply with Security Operatives Orders As 24 hour Curfew Takes Effect.

Following the 24 hour dusk to dawn curfew imposed upon by the plateau state government , Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Shehu Bala Usman has called on the inhabitants of the area to cooperate with the security agencies by observing the directive of the State Government to remain indoors

Jos North LGA Chairman in a Press statement issued on Sunday to newsmen in Jos,said with the declaration of the curfew comes amidst heightened tension occasioned by skirmishes around Rukuba road on Saturday Morning.

The Jos North Chairman called on parents and guardians , Traditional and religious leaders, Development Organizations as well as Youth groups to sensitize their subjects on the need to live in peace and coexist with one another irrespective of religious and ethnic differences.

According to him, the dusk to dawn curfew is part of efforts by the state government to restore peace and normalcy in the area.

Usman further noted that relevant security formations have been mobilized to enforce the dusk to dawn curfew.

The Chairman of Jos North advised citizens to stay calm and be security conscious and as well report any suspicious activity to relevant authorities for government attention
