2023: Plateau APC Uncovers Plans By Some Persons to Destabilize the party (APC) On The Plateau A Head Of General Elections- Alleges Namang APC Spokesman..Okwuta Audu Jos

As the 2023 general elections draw closer, the All Progressives Congress in Plateau State has cried that it has uncovered grand plans by some highly placed and disgruntled individuals in the state to destabilise the party ahead of the general elections.

Spokesman of the Party in the state Sylvanus Namang in a statement issued to newsmen in Jos on Tuesday and a copy made available to Oracle Reporters in Jos, claimed that his party leadership is fully aware that “there is no way the APC would not win the general elections, especially the gubernatorial election with the credible combination of Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe and Hon. Pam Bot Mang”

According to him, “these subterranean forces have been recruiting some willing youths to cause confusion in order to distract the party from concentrating on its legitimate, awesome and novel campaign strategies in the state'”

He alleged that part of this dastardly act, “these shameless so- called leaders who had looted and bled the state dry in the past have hired hoodlums with mouth – watering sums to embark on violent protest at the APC state Secretariat along Yakubu Gowon Way with the aim of installing a so- called factional Chairman in the person of one Ishaya Itse who has since been expelled from the party.”

Namang alleged that an opposition party in the state, in league with some disgruntled characters and former members of the party, having realised that there is no way they can stop Dr Nentawe from winning the governorship election, having lost all the court cases against the party, have decided on the planned violent option.

“We have it on good account recorded statements of their nocturnal meetings and plans to cause mayhem and disrupt the relative peace the state is presently enjoying.”

A vording to Namang, the party has informed security agencies in the state to take all proactive measures of keeping an eye on these individuals and to forstall any breakdown of law and order.

He threatens that the party would be left with no option than to reveal the identity of these characters working behind the scene as the APC would not sit and watch on the sidelines to allow these harbingers and agents of destruction and destabilisation stand on its way to victory outside the ballot box.

” We call on our members, supporters and well wishers whom our candidates have fully engaged and interacted with individually and severally to keep faith and trust in the ability of array of credible candidates of our party to deliver on their well – invented and articulated campaign promises of the Plateau of their collective dream woven around the peace building efforts of Governor Simon Bako Lalong who has changed the trajectory of governance in the state.
