Elderstateman and Chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Plateau state Chief Amos Gizo has given Kudos to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for reflecting Federal Character in his consideration for the appointment of new service Chiefs under his administration.
Chief Gizo who is one of the founding fathers of All Progressive Congress on the Plateau and a dependable political ally of President Tinubu in an interview with Oracle Reporters in Jos, said it is only a democrat like Tinubu that could display sense of nationalism and patriotism to take interest of all sections of the country at heart in sharing sensitive positions in government to give all a sense of belonging in the Nigerian project.
According to him,no body could have done what President Tinubu has done by apointing a Christian minority from Kaduna state as Chief of Defense staff.
He described Tinubu as a consumate politician who wants to work for a better Nigeria, stressing that the President listens to the cries of the people and act accordingly to meet the yearnings of the people of Nigeria .
” President Tinubu having travelled round democratic countries of the world, he would copy and implement tested case studies that Will contribute positively to the wellbeing of the people of Nigeria'”
Chief Gizo also commended President Tinubu for apointing Nuhu Ribadu ( AIG Rtd ) as National security Adviser, stressing that
with Ribadu now in charge as NSA, monies voted for security Votes at the national level of government would be utilised to cater for the security needs of this country .
According to him, Ribadu is sound, articulate and well travelled who knows the security architecture of this country and would perform above board in addressing the security challenges of this country within the shortest possible time under Tinubu administration.
He added that Tinubu as a well tested politician takes his time to select those he wants to work with because he has a vision for a better Nigeria where interest of all will receive favorable attention it deserves.
