Plateau Special Duties Commissioner Organizes Youth Football Tourney To Promote Peace and Unity.

Plateau state Commissioner for Special Duties,NGO and Intergovernmental Hon Gyang D Musa has organised Grassroots football tournament in his community Foron district of Plateau state to promote foot ball talent hunt Among the youths in his community.

Hon Musa in an interview with sports writers at the weekend during the foot ball match between Highlanders of Nkankapwis and Riverside Bufalows which was witnessed by the state Commissioner of Information Hon Dan Manjang,said this competition among the grassroot football teams in his locality was meant to promote peace among his people.

According to him,the Administration of Governor Lalong has been gracious to them in his community with appointment of not less than 26 persons into his government positions.

He added that the best way the people of his community could appreciate what Lalong has done for them, is for them to go all out this Saturday the 11th of March to vote for APC Governorship Candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda at the polls.

Musa added that with Nentawe in the saddle as next governor after Lalong, the people of his community will enjoy more dividends of democracy from Nentawe’s Administration.

Similarly, Information commissioner Dan Manjang Commended Hon Musa for organizing this youth football competition among the youths of his locality to bring out the best legs among them .

According to Manjang, good footballers among them stand better chance of making it to join Plateau United football team and even Super Eagles in the nearest future.

He encourage the locals to go all this Saturday to vote APC Governorship Candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda and APC House of Assembly candidate for Barkin-Ladi state Constituency at the polls.

The two teams Highlanders and Bufalows gave good account of themselves on the field of play that lasted for 90 minutes.

Highlanders won the match beating the Bufalows boys 3 goals to nothing to carry the day.

Cash prizes were given to the winner, the second runners up and the officiating referees.
