322 Companies paid Reimbursement By Industrial Training Fund, the Sum Of (N9,394,973,610.98K) In Last One Year- Director General ITF.

Industrial Training Fund The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has in the last one year made reimbursement payment to 322 companies to the tune of Nine billion, Three hundred and ninety-four million, nine hundred and seventy three thousand,six hundred and ten naira, ninety eight Kobo (N9,394,973,610.98).

Similarly, a total of five hundred and seventy four thousand,one hundred and twelve naira (N574,112.00) paid as bank charges.

In the same vein, industrial training Fund has paid Students and supervisory allowances in the last one year to the tune of one billion,two hundred and fifty four million,six hundred and fifty thousand naira (N1,254,650,000.00)

The Director General of Industrial Training Fund Sir Joe Ari disclosed this on Saturday at the performance review and meeting and award ceremony for 2022 with the theme National Apprenticeship and Traineeship System (NATS) A pathway to job creation held at the Headquarters of ITF in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

The Director General of the Fund,Sir Joe Ari told the gathering at the event that ITF under the current management has been committed to payment of Students and supervisors allowances as soon as money is received by the Fund from the federal government.

He added that as part of their and inline with the ITF Act , the Fund reimburses contributing employers up to fifty percent of the statutory annual training contributions remitted by them the governing council is satisfied that the training programs of the employer were in accordance with the Fund’s reimbursement scheme.

According to him, the Fund had equally organised several reimbursement workshops to apraise employers of labour of the processes involved in the reimbursement scheme.

Ari called on governments, the organised private sector,non Governmental Organizations ,faith based Organizations and well meaning Nigeriàns to collaborate with ITF in it’s efforts to catalyse the industrial development of Nigeria through technical vocational skills acquisition.
Awards were given to Staffs and Area offices ,Best contributing employers in HRD and long service awards to deserving Staffs of the Industrial Training Fund at the event which was graced by many dignatories .
