Changing Lives Project of Plateau based Philanthropist Family Donates Relief Matterials to Muslim/Christian Community of Gana-Ropp in Barkin-Ladi LGA Of Plateau state.

A renowned Plateau based business man and Philanthropist Baba Mathew Olaleye Children have donated relief materials to both Christian and Muslim women in Gana-Ropp community worth huge sums of money in Barkin-Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Presenting the items on behalf of the family to the Chief Imam of Gana-Ropp Central Mosque, Sheikh Haruna Baba Hadaijah (Malam Ladan), the eldest son of Baba Matthew , Dr. Daniel Mathew , said they were at the community to support the aged women in their little way and also renew the long friendship that existed between their parents and the people of the community when they were little children

Receiving the iterms, the Chief Imam said, he was happy that despite all that happened in the past,they were not afraid to come and donate to this community.

“This is true prove of brotherhood and I am highly impressed with you for what you have done because you have demonstrated to us how peaceful we were as a community. I call on our Muslim brothers to emulate the Baba Mathew’s children”.

Similarly, the Muslims Community Leader of Gana-Ropp, Elder Bala A. Buba ( Man-B), described late Baba Mathew as a committed Christian who was their parents’ friend, saying his children were like brothers to them.

He thank God for the peace they are currently enjoying now, stressing that they have been preaching on the need to live peacefully with one another because without peace, there will be no development.

Muhammad Tijani Kura on his part said Gana-Ropp community has been in existence for over two hundred years because of mining activities

. He thanked the Children of Baba Mathew for consistently supporting the community and wish that their other brothers were around to appreciate them.

Baba Olayleye family were also at Baptist Church and donated same to the Christians community of Gana-Ropp, during which the Church Leader, Pastor Stephen Adamu, appreciated them for great gesture and prayed God to bless them and replenish in full what they have spent.

The Representative of Church Of Christ In Nations (COCIN) Gana-Ropp, Monday Danladi on his part, described the action of Baba Mathew’s children as a true show of love & practical christianity.

He prayed God to continue to bless the family so that, they would continue to do good to community and others.

However, Mrs Mary Davou, who could not help fought back her tears, thanked God for the lives of Baba Mathew’s children that have touch their lives in the community.

” What Baba Olayleye family has done would go a long way in uniting the community that has been ravaged by the unfortunate crisis and attacks saying’ “Mun gode!, Mun gode! Mun gode!( meaning: we thank you, we thank you, we thank you!)

Dr. Daniel Mathew eldest son was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Joyce Daniel Mathew, younger brother, Samson Mathew (Ozogula) and a public affairs commentator and a Minister with The Redeemed Chtistian Church of God ,Jos. Ambassador Yemi Mathew (brother).

They equally visited their late father’s house that they were all given birth in and it was memory of the old good days as they reminiscenced old events they experienced in the community.

They equally donated Malaria rapid test &
Anti malaria drugs to the community clinic, while foodstuffs, clothes, shoes and hand sanitizers were equally distributed to all the churches and mosques in Gana Ropp respectively during the visit.
