The gubernatorial campaign organization of Ephraim Lenka Dewa has paid a condolence visit to the Palace of the deceased Mishkam Mwagavul, Da Nelson Andak Bakfur who passed on last December 28.
He was received at the Palace by the Sum Pyem of Gindiri, His Royal Highness, Charles Mato Dakat, Ephraim.
Lenka Dewa expressed “sincere condolences to the Mwaghavul nation and the family of the late Mishkagham Mwaghavul”.
The gubernatorial aspirant said he “met the late Mishkagham for the first time in 2008 in Maryland, USA, in the company of the late Long Goemai, Miskom Hubert Shaldas, and the late Ngolong Ngas, Ndeh Joshua Dimlong”.
Ephraim Lenka Dewa also noted that his encounter with the late Mishkagham Mwaghavul immediately impressed on him that the deceased was a “thoughtful Leader and with a presence that no serious minded person could ignore”.

Dewa noted further, “he was dedicated to the service of the people of Mwaghavul nation, an advocate for peace, and a strong proponent for sustainable development of his people and the entire Plateau”.
Responding, the Sum Pyem, His Royal Highness, Charles Mato Dakat, agreed that the late Mishkagham Mwaghavul left a great legacy for the Mwaghavul people and Plateau State in general, said the deceased would be missed, and expressed the hope that his successor will emerge from a transparent and credible selection process.
