Jos Plateau state Chairman of the Peoples Democractic Party Chris Hassan has commended Senator representing Plateau North at National Assembly for packaging several empowerment Schemes for his Constituents of Plateau North Senatorial district.
Hassan in an interview with Oracle Reporters in Jos at the weekend, said Senator Gyang should be Commended for empowering about 630 farmers with training and startup funds for post-seasonal farming and agro-produce marketing skill and at the same time within one month, empowered 500 widows with funds to boost their small businesses.
Hassan equally Commended the Vice Chairman Senate committee on Defence Senator ID Gyang for giving scholarship to over 600 students in his constituency.
It would be recalled that only recently Senator Gyang at Mee’s Palace in Rayfield beseeched students from Plateau North to take advantage of their youthfulness to study hard and through their choice of lifestyle, sow seeds that will guarantee a bright future for them
Gyang told his audience that “there is no day or time that I will ever keep quiet on the floor of the Senate on issues that are critical to Plateau State or this nation at large”
Representative of NAPPS National President, Comr. Fidelis Pam at the event, eulogized senator Gyang educational strides, legislation, and other interventions of the positive impact towards the advancement of education in the constituency .
Mrs. Zubai Jubril, who spoke on behalf of the widows at the event, thanked senator Gyang for his impactful strides.
