The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kanam Local Government has flagged off its Campign campaign rally in Dengi mini stadium, Dengi-Kanam Local Government Area in honour of the party flags bearer Hon Dayyabu Garga for chairmanship and other councillorship aspirants respectively.

Speaking at the event Deputy Speaker and Member representing Dengi State Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly Rt Hon Saleh Yipmong who assumed the position of the chairman of the occasion challenged the party Supporters to ensure victory for the party ahead of the forth coming local government elections in the state slated for 9th October 2021

According to him the Party’s flag bearer Hon Dayyabu Garga is a trusted,dedicated, Committed and loyal party who has Committed his best in the unity and growth of the party in kanam local government and plateau state in general.

He says the choice of Hon Dayyabu Garga as the party flag bearer has further enhanced the party to a greater height which translates to victory for the party at the polls

He enjoined party faithfuls to ensure that party emerged victories for the Chairmanship and Councillorship

Garga appreciated God for his emergence and presented 4 Policy thrust of his adminstration areas that will bring rapid development to the Council and its Citizens which include meeting the need of the masses in regards to the provision of CLEAN AND DRINKABLE WATER, through collaborative effort with the state government to reestablish the once existing dam that was used in distributing clean, sufficient and drinkable water in the old Dengi of the blessed memory. Other areas include educational support measures for schools in kanam,Improvement in security across the Council by providing security apparatus that will help in tackling insecurity and youth empowerment.

Other stakeholders at the event which include member representating Kantana state Constituency Hon Bala Noma,Commissioner for Agriculture Hosea Fanmgwai applauded the party flag bearer and throw their weight behind to him succeed as the Chairman of the Council

Highlights of the event include issuance of flags to the 20 successful councillorship aspirants of the party
