The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ahmed Idris Wase has urged Ngerians to remain united for the good and progress of the country as Nigeria turns 61.
In a congratulatory massage on the occasion of Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary, made available to newsmen in Jos, the Deputy Speaker, enjoyed Nigerians to pray for long lasting peace and as well pray for the leaders for the entrenchement of good governance.
“We have come a long way as an indivisible country, it is the responsibility of every citizen to work and ensure that the country remain not only as one, but as indivisible and united and peaceful country.
He tasked Ngerians to continue to pray for the leaders to realise the mission and vision of the country’s founding fathers who fought for the country’s independence.
“As we mark our country’s 61st Independence, we must remain steadfast, United and prayerful for our country to overcome all its challenges. Wase stressed
