Senate Committee Chairman on Drugs and Narcotics Senator Hezekiah Dimka has Commended the gallantry of Abdulrahaman Isa Danzakara, Commander IGP’s Intelligence Response Team based in Mangu and one Hassan Mohammed a local vigilante who paid the supreme price while engaging criminals in gun duel at Nc

hiya on Mangu- Bwai road of Mangu LGA Of Plateau state.

Senator Dimka in a statement in Jos on Tuesday which was made available to newsmen,
said the late Police personnel played critical role in stemming the tide of criminality in the area.

According Dimka, his” death, therefore, is our loss and it is regretted. Danzakara hails from Gindiri of Mangu LGA.”

The Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial zone at National Assembly noted that the gun duel between some bandits and security personnel at Nchiya on Mangu- Bwai road have revealed increasing insecurity facing communities in his state.

He Regreted the Mangu LGA ugly Incident that came barely just a few weeks after the unfortunate loss of lives through attacks in Bassa, Riyom, Barkinladi, Jos North and South local government areas of the state.

, Dimka added that ,” the attack in Mangu leaves much to be desired, sadly as lives were loss. Six of the bandits were reported to have been killed.”

” I have been informed that Insp Abdulrahaman Isa Danzakara, Commander IGP’s Intelligence Response Team based in Mangu and one Hassan Mohammed a local vigilante gallantly paid the supreme price. Already, glowing tribute has been said about the police personnel and his role in stemming the tide of criminality in the area.”

He added that as investigations continue, nothing should be taken for granted.

According to him, the loss of lives the state has witnessed lately should awaken the nation that all is not well,
when justice is not given to the people.

He appealled to the people of the area to be patient as the security agencies have already been involved and will come with positive result.

Dimka condoles the families of the deceased who lost loved ones and prayed Allah to forgive them their shortcomings and give them aljanna firdausi.
