The President Jos North Local Government Traditional Council and the Ujah Anaguta Pozoh Johnson Jauro Magaji has appealed to the inhabitants of Jos North to shelve their sword and toe the path of peace and peaceful coexistence.
The Ujah Anaguta made this appeal in a statement against the backdrop of the unfortunate incident that occurred in some part of Jos North Local Government Area at the weekend.
The royal father assured the people of Jos North that the traditional council will soon engage relevant stakeholders in the peace building process in order to restore confidence, create stability and ensure peaceful coexistence in the locality.
He called on residents of Jos North not to take the laws into their hands stressing that security agencies are working round the clock to restore normalcy all parts of Jos North LGA.
The Ujah Anaguta commiserated with the families of the victims, the government and people of plateau state over the unfortunate incident and called for restraint and calm.
