The Chairman of Plateau state Local government Service Commission has resumed duty for his second term at the Headquarters of the Commission situated within Joseph Gomwalk Secretariat Jos.
The handover ceremony took place at the commission’s board room.on 10th May this month.
.The permanent secretary,Miskoom Henry Lankwap while handing over to Chief Taple, said the re-appointment of Chief Robert Taple was in recognition of his valuable contribution towards the attainment of growth and development at the grassroot level in the state.
According to him, the second comming of Chief Taple to the Commission will enable him to complete the program he set to achieve for the commission..
” So far he has secured approval of 2 memos from the Executive Governor,Hon.Simon Bako Lalong for the transfer of 7,000 unified staff across the 17 local government council which has not been carried out for the past 15 years”
Responding Chief Taple thanked the permanent secretary for holding forth,promising that it will not be business as usual,as time of polticking is over.
Chief Taple said ” we will not seat in the commission to supervise activities at the local government level,but we shall all be in the field.
The event, was witnessed by Directors of Personnel Management(DPM),Directors of Finance(DFS),
Others were NULGE President(Comrade Makwin Yohanna Arandong) and Management of the commission .
